The DealHaving honed his skills for the last two decades, PGA coach Scott Currie currently puts his keen eyes to good use as he tees up budding golfers and helps drive them towards improved technique. Using slow-motion video analysis, Scott identifies areas for improvement, then tailors each of the three 30-minute lessons to match the individual needs of the client. Swing faults can be ironed out with the help of the video analysis technology, and Scott also provides instruction in woods and irons play. Short-game skills such as putting, chipping, pitching and sand play are also looked over.
The MerchantBoysnope Park Golf Club is home to a challenging par-72 course that measures 6508 yards and features a good selection of lengthy par-five holes. Elsewhere, the club has a 24-bay driving range, floodlit and kept open seven days a week. The clubhouse restaurant serves a varied range of snacks and meals, freshly prepared on site from locally sourced ingredients.
