Bovey Castle's serenely majestic grounds have been home to a challenging 18-hole course since it was designed in 1926 by JF Abercromby. Two golfers can visit this idyllic sporting venue within Dartmoor National Park, playing a round of golf on the course any day of the week.
A an 18-hole course surrounded by the greenery of Dartmoor National Park, Bovey Castle hosted the PGA Lombard Challenge as a regional qualifying course in June 2013. The course covers much of the vast estate and features a driving range, club house and bistro. Other activities available on the estate include cocktail making, clay pigeon shooting and hot air balloon rides.
