Amateur golfers can get their swing up to par on some simulated links, before heading out for 18 holes on the real thing. A one-to-one lesson with resident PGA golfer Ron Tickle (usually £50) will see him use video analysis and the training aide PlaneSwing to work on players’ technique, helping to improve their action when using different clubs and shots. Participants can then play two rounds on the fairways and greens of the Lundin Links Ladies (£16 per person), with its variety of bunkers and burns. The 19th century parkland course is best suited to accuracy rather than long drives, providing a smooth hit for the beginner as well as challenges for the more accomplished golfer. They’ll have a NO-DIVOT training tee (£6) to help them drive and chip without worrying about uneven surfaces.
