Up to four hours’ access to the driving range, practice bunker and nine-hole putting green lets golfers get some long and short game practice in. The MerchantSnug in the Hampshire countryside, Chandlers Ford Golf Academy offers bits and bobs to improve the game of rookies and seasoned players alike. Two private coaching bays feature swing analysis equipment, while a team of PGA professional tutors are on hand to help students improve, and a golf shop supplies all the gadgets for a stint on the greens. Guests can also rest up with breakfasts, light bites and heartier meals at the restaurant, while outside seating caters to sunny days.
