G: What made you want to coach?
"All my family played so I was taken to the golf club from a young age. After years of playing, I realised I was able to explain the basics of the golf swing in simple, straight forward language."
G: What do beginners tend to find hardest to pick up?
"Most beginners struggle with the grip."
G: In terms of becoming proficient, is natural talent essential or can it all come from hard work?
"Natural talent is obviously a bonus but with plenty of practice and a little hard work, most people can play to a reasonable standard."
G: If you could play a round of golf with one famous person, who would it be and why?
"I would like to play with Jack Nicklaus, arguably the best golfer ever. He is a true gentleman and to listen to his views on the game of golf and how it has evolved would be fascinating."
