Maywood Golf Club offers a true golfing test with a challenging par-72 course sprawled across over 100 acres of parkland. Fuelled by a sausage or egg cob and a tea or coffee, two or four golfers can pit their wits against 18 hole-centric conundrums. What's the course like?
It's a classic parkland course, with a fair mix of three- and four-par holes and a few par-five holes thrown in for good measure. Some unforgiving rough, sloping greens and tight fairways force players to maintain concentration throughout the round.
Does the club offer coaching?
PGA coach Simon Purcell-Jackson is on hand to offer tuition to golfers of all skill levels. He offers private lessons and on-the-course coaching.
What dining options are available?
A range of food and drinks is available in the cosy club house.
